Healing Through Guitars
My name is Caroline Rafferty, and I am a senior at Burlingame High School. I co-founded Healing Through Guitars with my sister, Ella Rafferty, in 2021. Together, we bring live music to assisted-living and memory care communities, primarily Burlingame Villa. We have a simple goal: to share the fun, comfort, and connection that music can bring.
Although my sister is now away at college, she joins me whenever she's home, and we love performing together on our guitars. I also enjoy inviting other musicians to join us, so if you're interested in volunteering or performing, I'd love to hear from you.
When I'm not volunteering or learning new songs (I take requests!), you'll usually find me playing tennis for Burlingame High School.
Healing Through Guitars is available to perform for assisted-living and memory care communities, veterans' organizations, and individuals receiving care at home. If you'd like to schedule a visit, request a performance, or learn more about volunteering, please use the contact form below.
Thank you for your support!
